As tonight is the last night of Hannukah I thought I would share the best easy version of potato pancakes with my followers!! I love the holidays and especially because we celebrate both Hannukah and Christmas, or Chrismakah (as called in our home).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Potato Pancakes can be time consuming and a pain sometimes to make but here is the super easy version as made by my Mother and I!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A box of Potato Pancake mix<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A package of frozen hash brown potatoes- nothing in them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eggs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 Onion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Serve with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple Sauce and Sour Cream!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start by making the box of potato pancake mix!! Just follow the directions..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Here is what it will look like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 After you make the mix add in the bag of Shredded potatoes, thawed or not! Also add 1 Chopped onion!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Looking good yet??? Not quite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 OK, get your saute pan going and add 1\/4 inch of oil in the bottom at a medium high heat! Take medium size scoops and start cooking,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t put more then 4 in at a time because they are hard to flip!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your first batch always comes out a mess! Once you get the hang of it they look great! Wait till the edges are golden brown before you turn your latkes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yummy golden brown goodness!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serve with Apple Sauce and sour cream to dip in!! Please try it so yummy, no ketchup!! It’s a sin!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
